Hello Tonylinguini

Have you tried to format the drive and make sure its NTFS and Fat32 file format?

It was NTFS, but it was 3TB. I separated it to 2 - 1.5TB partitions and it saw it fine. However, it is not practical to use it for network backup because it is sl-o-o-o-o-w. Thank you.

generally NTFS is slow on the Cable gateways (since most of them use opensource NTFS-3G driver). what speeds are you seeing?

can you please try FAT or EXT formatted drives?

Horribly slow. Connected to computer 20 minutes, through the router 6 hours. I am not interested in stepping backwards in format to make this work, please consider this answered.
