Use AC1750 Router with C3000 cable modem
I have the Netgear C3000 cable modem and Nighthawk AC1750 router. I want to use the cable modem as "modem only" mode (as it has only 2.4 Ghz router) connected to the AC1750 router (as it has both 2.4 Ghz and 5Ghz bandwidths).
When I set the cable modem's router option to 'No' and connect the AC1750 router with it using an ehternet cable, I do not have any internet in the AC1750 router; the interet light is red.
Can someone give step by step instuctions to do that. I do not have much knowledge about all the options and their meanings in the Netgear Genie application.

Re: Use AC1750 Router with C3000 cable modem
just make sure to
1. TURN OFF WIFI on C3000
2. TURN the C3000 to MODEM-ONLY mode
3. REMOVE ETHERNET devices from C3000. ONLY AC1750 should be connected.
4. Reboot both C3000 and AC1750 and see if AC1750 gets internet.
Make sure AC1750 internet page has WAN set to DHCP (not PPPoE,etc)
