Which is the better modem for gaming? What are the differences? Thank you!

There both good for gaming. The CM1200 has additional WAN Ports for WAN IP address assignments from an ISP. The 1200 doesn't include a router so you'll still need a external wifi router to connect to it.

They would be about the same. There both broadcom based chip set modems. Use same or very similar chips.
You external router will be what you need to ensure that doesn't impact gaming.

Im using it with the NETGEAR - Nighthawk AX11000 Tri-Band WiFi 6 Router - Black. Just wanted to know what modem would jive together better & give the best performance! Thank you...
