CM1200 - Event Logs empty without clearing

CM1200 - Event Logs empty without clearing
I've been having of late terrible internet drop issues. So I've been monitoring my Event log. What I don't understand is, does the event log on the CM1200 clear it's logs after a certain amount of time? I see in mine from last night I have the errors I was reviewing. I logged into the CM1200 this morning and the events are gone. Do they clear after time or should the logging append? Not clear to me.

I believe they do clear out automatically. I don't know the time frame. Also I presume reboots and resets may clear the log as well.
Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status page.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute them back ON.
