Re: CM1200 Spectrum Analyzer help

Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status page.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

Re: CM1200 Spectrum Analyzer help

1. why do you think you're having signal issues?

2. got a screensnip of the cable connections page and the event logs?

Re: CM1200 Spectrum Analyzer help

did you check your line/connections?

You don't have "errors" in your line per the screen snip (event logs tell us more......) but your power should be within 3.5dbmv of each other and you're running from -1 to 5.5dbmv. so a 6.5dbmv difference.

Also only 1 channel locked in?

Whats you uplink speed that you pay for?

Re: CM1200 Spectrum Analyzer help

Plus your upstream is quite high. making me think either you have something in the line. Whether that be an amplifier causing you to have higher downstream and upstream. (needs a higher upstream to boost the signal to the cmts from the amplifier).

Re: CM1200 Spectrum Analyzer help

what else is connected to the coax line?

Did you remove splitters, amplifiers, and signal attenuators?

Like I said, your power levels don't make sense between what your upstream is versus your downstream

Re: CM1200 Spectrum Analyzer help

You have a 1Gb on the UP? IF so, you should have more then 1 channel locked in for the up channels...

Re: CM1200 Spectrum Analyzer help

I haven't seen a single ISP have reciprocal speeds on cable connections. Not sure what upload speeds spectrum has on their 1 gig plans.

Re: CM1200 Spectrum Analyzer help

I guess. I know for my 1Gb x 50Mb I get 4 locked UP channels.
