I am using D6000 router and I am unable to connect to some selected https urls - https://infydrive.infosys.com
I tried upgrading to the latest firmware.l but it didn't help.
With another router from ISP on the same DSL line I am not seeing any issues.
Any pointers is appreciated.

Hi Abhayadevs,
If your set up is working for you then I wouldn't reset it. If you decide to update your firmware and have any issues. Please do a factory reset.
Let me know what you decide to do :]

Re: D6000 connection problems
Hi Abhayadevs,
Sorry to hear about your connection issues.
Did you reset the router to factory settings after the firmware update?
New firmware sometimes introduces changes that are not compatible with the old configuration.
What firmware are you on?
Please keep me updated. :]

Re: D6000 connection problems
Thanks for responding.
My firmware is V1.0.0.68_1.0.1
And there is an update. The issue is only if I am using the DSL. When I used an ISP provided modem and used the WAN interfere I am able to connect to the URLs.
Do you still think I need to reset the router?
Thanks an regards,
Abhayadev.

Re: D6000 connection problems
I used a temporary setup to test it and found working via WAN but I need it to be working over DSL which is not happening for me now.
Should I try factory resetting?
Thanks.

Re: D6000 connection problems
I do the factory resetting and bingo it worked out and now I am able to access the mentioned URLs.
Thanks a lot for the support.
So lesson learned is to do the factory resetting after every firmware upgrade.
Once again thanks for the support.
Regards
Abhayadev S.

Re: D6000 connection problems
Hi Abhayadevs,
I'm glad it fixed your problem! Yes, it is always good to do a factory reset after a firmware update so it can flush out the old configurations/bugs.
Thanks for choosing NETGEAR. :]
