Re: How to connect HyperTerminal or Putty with Netgear AC785?
Hi DarrenM,
The Netgear AC785 is a good product and I'm happy to bought it. But, it lacks of some features such as compose/send SMS and USSD code. That's why I want to connect AC785 with HyperTeminal or Putty to test some AT commands to see whether the modem can compose/send SMS and USSD code.
Hi Wstyle1,
The Netgear AC785 can connect with my Android phone using Netgear AirCard app. This app has a lot of features and one of them is read SMS. Yes, only can read but cannot compose/send SMS. No USSD feature.

Re: How to connect HyperTerminal or Putty with Netgear AC785?
OK, I managed to make it work with HyperTerminal. I just use it to send a few USSD codes.
The new firmware I just updated now can compose/send SMS. This is good.
It will be better if the next update can add the USSD code feature.
Thanks.

Oh, fyi. I need to install the below driver in order to make it work.
Thanks.
