M6 MR6110 Power Adaptor Solution
I have had my M6 for just over 12 months and have found the unit to be excellent for what I have needed (regional Australia base and travel in regional Australia).
However, the power adaptor and USB lead became more and more unreliable.
When I took the unit back to the supplier (Telstra) I was informed that the M6 had warranty but the adaptor and lead had no cover.
I tested a number of power adaptors that I had on hand and none could supply the required current to power the M6. (I run mine without the battery)
Yesterday, the adaptor failed completely so I looked at repairing it.
The repair is an easy one for your local TV repair person who should charge you no more than $20.
The reason for the failure is the stiff, heavy-duty USB cable.

Re: M6 MR6110 Power Adaptor Solution
The USB cable puts too much pressure on the USB socket in the Power Adapter - the pins at the base of the socket work loose, breaking the solder pad. This leads to the intermittent fault that gradually becomes worse with time.
