M6 PRO 5G - DOES NOT WORK
I doubt it, I can't make it work with 5G
When I put in my iPhone 12 or Motorola G54 Internet chip, they both work with 5G in my city and work. However, my Router arrives with the same internal chip only for the 4G Network with up to 32 Mbs Download.
I don't know what to do, I bought this Router to have a better internet signal and relay between my cell phones and Macook for work. But it's worth it to route through my own cell phone
M6 Router Test
42.5 Download in Mbps
13.7 Upload in Mbps
Test iPhone 12 / Motorola G54
236.5 Download in Mbps
48.8 Upload in Mbps

This MR6500-1A1NAS is a carrier specific model variant intended for AT&T users in the US, not a MR6550 as you tagged, which is unlocked and certified to work with AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. Works in over 125 countries and international carriers, keeping you connected around the world.
@JohnPeng please assist your customer.

Re: M6 PRO 5G - DOES NOT WORK
Sorry, I didn't know, I'm a layman in these matters of Routers and equipment.
What does this mean?
Is this product I have on hand bad? it will never work in Brazil with 5G...
Is there anything I can do like updating or putting up an antenna or something like that to get 5G to work?

Thats why I'm challenging Netgear' @JohnPeng ... some models can be operated worldwide with the appropriate firmware, but not all models allow this.

Re: M6 PRO 5G - DOES NOT WORK
I understand, thank you very much for your collaboration @schumaku 👊
I bought this product outside of my parents, there is no NetGear reseller here.
Our market is very weak in terms of news regarding 5G, as I always visit customers, I need equipment that allows me to work with high-speed 5G internet routing between Macbook and iPhone.
I don't like routing from my iPhone because the battery runs out very quickly, whereas this device allows me to stay connected for a long time.
Let's wait for our colea to @JohnPeng
Thanks

Re: M6 PRO 5G - DOES NOT WORK
Based on the information you provided. You are using a ATT MR6500. You must buy it online or it will not work with non-ATT SIM card.
This is carrier specific SKU, so it has less band supports than retail SKUs.
I don't think it will work in Brazil. But our retail SKU MR6550 should work since we are adding more 5G combo supports.
Thanks

Re: M6 PRO 5G - DOES NOT WORK
It does work here in Brazil, but it only uses 4G networks.
As I said at the beginning, my cell phones with the same chip can use the 5G network.
I took a photo of the Router's data without a battery, is there any more information I should send to you?
Thank you again for taking the time to deal with my case. @JohnPeng @schumaku

Re: M6 PRO 5G - DOES NOT WORK
Yes. What I mean is that 5G will not work on this device in Brazil.
Thanks

Re: M6 PRO 5G - DOES NOT WORK
Thank you, I'm sad because the seller deceived me.
Unfortunately I can no longer exchange the product.
Could you recommend a 5G Portable Router that works in Brazil?
