NETGEAR Nighthawk M5 Mobile Router band and channels.
Dear,
I am looking at buying the Neatgear Nighthawk MR5200.
Now first I want to know on which channels / bandwidth the MR5200 can operate in 5GHz mode.
The intention is to connect my Nikon Z9 to it and then transfer the pictures directly to the macbook.
I attach another image showing the channels / bandwidth under which the Z9 works.
It is not possible to choose other channels.
I can't get back at the specs of the MR5200 what is possible under 5GHz.
If there are still things that are not clear then please let me know.
Kind regards.
Erich Snijder.

Re: NETGEAR Nighthawk M5 Mobile Router band and channels.
While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge. In your case, your are asking about the M5 Mobile Router.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Mobile Routers, Hotspots & Modems
I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Check for various troubleshooting tips.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

Re: NETGEAR Nighthawk M5 Mobile Router band and channels.
Thanks for the response.
I've been looking on the support page but can't find the info i need.
I didn't buy the Nighthawk because first i want to now what channels are use under 5GHz.
At this moment i got an Huawei and that one uses only channel 100.
The Nikon Z9 uses an range from 36 to 64.
So buying is first to now i can work with 5GHz.
Thanks anyway.

Re: NETGEAR Nighthawk M5 Mobile Router band and channels.
I would review the user manual for the MR. May list what channels it supports.

Link spam that I reported and that the moderators deleted.

I have no idea what the Nikon Z9 is, but if it works with wifi, then Netgear's routers are going to support bands that are in common use.
