2.4 GHz channel
I recently bought a security camera for a friend who had a DM200 DSL modem/router. It only works on 2.4GHz, how do I either separate the 2.4 and 5 GHz SSIDs, or force her iphone to connect on 2.4GHz, so I can get this setup? If this modem/router had an outptu LAN port I would just connect a router, but this is not an option. The router login page has ZERO option for setting up these channels, at least not that I can find. Absolutley horrible interface with no useful options.

You should not need to use different SSIDs for the 2.4GHz and 5GHz
radios. A device which can't use one of them will simply use the one
which it can use. But, even if you did need to do anything with SSIDs,
I'd bet that you wouldn't do it on a DM200, which does not include a
_wireless_ router.

Because a DM200 does not include a wireless router, I don't see how
you could connect an iPhone (or any wireless device) to it directly.

"Figure 3. Modem back panel" in the DM200 User Manual shows one.
Look for "LAN". The section entiltled "Disable the Modem's Routing
Features and Use the Modem as a DSL Modem Only" shows how to do that.

If you're expecting to find configuration options for wireless
networking in a modem+router which does not offer wireless networking,
then you may be doomed to disappointment.
You might start with a visit to http://www.netgear.com/support , where
you can put in your model number, and look for Documentation. Get the
User Manual. Read.

Re: 2.4 GHz channel
The DM200 does not support wifi. That's why thjetre are no controls for wifi.
There is a manual for the DM200 somewhere at the end of this link:
>>> DM200 | Product | Support | NETGEAR <<<
It explains what you need to do to connect a wifi router.
See page 9 for a start.
