6400 unreliable wifi
Hi
I have just bought a 6400, seems a good product, but I am having wifi issues.
it will connect to my WiFi devices no problem, however sometimes on the mobile devices the internet just doesn't work, a swap from 2.4 to 5 sorts it and vice versa but mostly it doesn't sort it.
and even if it did sort it, i shouldn't have to keep switching just to get the internet to work on it.
is there a solution? or have i bought a dud one?

Re: 6400 unreliable wifi
No wide scale reports of wifi issues with the D6400 I can find.
Mine works great with all my devices including iPads, Samsung and LG phones Mac & PCs and a even a Surface RT. It is very stable and has good range on both bands.
Maybe try a factory reset?

Re: 6400 unreliable wifi
Try changing channels of your wireless network. How many devices are affected? If it's just one smart phone then probably you need to update it.

Download Genie app and check for available channels you can select. It will detect networks within your range and what channels they are using.
