Can not upgrade to new firmware 1.1.00.15

Hello all. I have firmware V1.1.00.12_1.00.12NA and have tried to upgrade to 1.1.00.15, which is the latest version I have found.

However, the upgrade does not happen. I downloaded the file, but when I click Upload in the Netgear Genie, nothing happens.

Something that is even more strange. I found the file by just checking the Netgear website. If I go into Netgear Genie and try to check for any updates, it says that there are no firmware updates available. How is it that Netgear genie can not find the update, yet there is clearly one available?

I have version v2 of the DGND3700.

Are you talking the Genie application on you PC? Have you tried doing the update from the Web interface on the modem? IE; http://192.168.0.1 and doing the firmware upgrade from there.

Yes, I used the http://192.168.0.1 to get to the modem. It opened up as Netgear Genie. That's where I tried to do the firmware upgrade.

Make sure computer is wired the router and use IE or Firefox browser.

Also on IE 11/10 , you may also want to try compatibly mode and if that helps

HI all, I have a WNDR 3700 firmware 1.0.1.14.
I have attempted the above procedure with the Netgear Smart wizard ( http://192.168.1.1/index.htm) internet Explorer, which indicated that the firmware is up to date. I have downloaded the firmware update 1.1.00.15 and unzipped the file. The file unzippes as a ( .IMG) file and will not upload.:rolleyes:
