D1500 DHCP Address Reservation?

Hi everyone,

I have searched and searched, but where are the address reservation settings on the Netgear D1500 router?

It seems odd these features aren't easily available - surely its a fairly standard feature for any DHCP service?

I think Netgear just considers it a cheap entry level router so it's just not configure in the UI. Wouldn't want those users having too much control over their networks!

I don't think the D1500 has the ability to do address reservation.

Wow, really? Netgear must have purposely removed it - I doubt they have written an entirely new DHCP service for the D1500 just so they can omit address reservation.

I'd love to hear Netgear's response to this.

Firmware upgrade please to get Address reservation back!

Just shocking, you can't really get Address Reservation wrong - even as the stupidest of user so it's an odd thing to leave out, it's not as if they write and entirely new UI for each router they build either.
