[D6000] Internet led blinks after router started up: no Internet connction

Hi,
when I switch on my D6000, the router starts correctly, but the Internet led blinks continuously.
The result is that I can't surf on the net.
My ISP said that the line is ok.
I discovered that if I login into the router and go to ADVANCED -> Internet Port, ip address is setted to 0.0.0.0 and dns are not setted.
Besides, if I select "Connection status" and click to "connect", the router connects correctly to the Internet, the Internet led is not blinking anymore and finally I can surf.
What can I do?
Is ia a router problem? Could be the dsl filter? Other?
Help me please.
Thanks a lot.
D

Hi DarrenM and thank you for answering me.
I resetted and re-configured the router: no success.
I tried to change the filter: no success.
I fixed this issue in a very simple way.
Go to: BASIC tab -> Internet -> select "dial on demand" when you see "Connection mode".

Hello daniele1987
It could be a filter issue I would check your connections you may want to run threw the connection setup again in the GUI see if that helps. But if you have another filter handy try swapping it out see if anything changes.
