I don't know what "everything on the community" entails. Did you try
the set-up procedure in the User Manual? Visit
http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look for
Documentation. Get the User Manual. Read.
When the documented procedure fails, return with a clear description
of what you did, and what happened when you did it. As usual, showing
actual actions with their actual results (error messages, LED
indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague descriptions or
interpretations. (And much more helpful than "not connecting".)
"my username and password for Sky" are only two of the variables
involved in the DSL set-up. A Web search for keywords like, say:
sky dsl settings
should find many pages with suggested values for various parameters, but
asking the ISP might be more reliable.
