D6300 not working with UK IPTV

Just switched to ISP Plusnet's TV service and cant get Youview box to pick up internet channels.

I have unticked the Disable IGMP proxy  setting and tried both RIP disabled amd 2M options as it needs multicast.

Comparing routing tables from the supplied router which works and the D6300 they are identical except for the suppplied router has an extrra routing table entry

  10.0.0.0  0.0.0.0  255.255.255.254   -      which is missing in the D6300 table.

I tried entering it as a static route but get message that IP address is invalid and metric must be greater than 1.

Has anyone got UK IPTV to work or isnt it supported on D6300

Model: D6300|Dual Band 11ac ADSL Modem Router

Hello tthomas1947

From what I found the D6300 does not have the VLAN tagging options like the D6220 and the D7000.

Does the D6300 have igmp setting, if it does try enabling this.

First time I bought the D7000 it didnt have this setting and I couldnt get TalkTalk internet channels to work so returned it to PCworld. I kept a eye on the manuals and low and behold they incorprated it so I bought it again and it works ok now (apart from some other problems lol)

Thanks for suggestions but no luck. Bought Plusnet Hub One (BT homehub 5A rebadged) which works and has vdsl capability so also removed BT fibre modem. Now use D6300 as guest network access point when needed
