Hi.
I've just bought a D7000 and set up the VPN according to the instructions. I've gone to test this remotely on a Windows 10 PC and the connection gets stuck as below.

my OpenVPN config is;
client
dev tap
proto udp
dev-node NETGEAR-VPN
remote (myhomeserverip) 12974
resolv-retry infinite
nobind
persist-key
persist-tun
ca ca.crt
cert client.crt
key client.key
cipher AES-128-CBC
comp-lzo
verb 5
I have tried putting a ; in front of the dev-node as per one other suggesting, but that didn't work. Would anyone else have any ideas please?
Thanks.

Didn't change any router settings, just created a mynetgear DDNS and used that as opposed to my existing noip.me name and it's working. Don't really understand why as I had tried going direct to my WAN IP address before and it failed.

Re: D7000 OpenVPN stuck MANAGMENT, STATE, WAIT
Further update on my issue.
At home I changed the open VPN client to connect to 192.168.0.1 (router ip) and it worked. It just will not work remotely, even if i bypass the DDNS and enter the WAN IP address of the router it just sticks at the same place as above and then just keeps retrying.
