D7800 aerials
A very basic question about the D7800 aerials: Is there any 'Correct' orientation of the 4 aerials for best performance? The setup instructions don't give any information. I was wondering why there are 4 aerials - presumably 2 for 2.4GHz and 2 for 5GHz? This might indicate advantage from different orientation possibly?

Re: D7800 aerials
The D7800/R7800 is a 4x4 design, meaning all antennas get used for 2.4 and 5G simultanously - they're dual-band omnidirectional. WiFi antennas emmit a doughnut-shaped radiation. If you place them straight up, you'll get "best" coverege for a single floor (the one the router is in). If you tilt them to the side, you'll also cover upper/down floors at the slight expense of covering the floor the router is in

_Which_ "The setup instructions"?
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Read. Look for "Attach the
Antennas", especially step 4, "Position the antennas for the best WiFi
performance."
