If you have a problem with the setup/settings configuration menu not completely loading the page on your old DG834GV2. If you are running windows 8/8.1 (and possibly 10?) and the menu keeps timing out and not completely loading the menu options - this is the solution;
1. Use Windows 7 or;
2. If you want to keep using windows 8, 8.1 or 10, Download Firefox 10.0.1 and configure the modem from this browser. It actually runs fairly smoothly and quick and will load all the menu options every time.
