The non-psychics in your audience have no idea what DSL settings your
(unspecified) ISP requires, nor what you've tried.
"can't" is not a useful problem description. It does not say what
you did. It does not say what happened when you did it. As usual,
showing actual actions with their actual results (error messages, ...)
can be more helpful than vague descriptions or interpretations. In this
case, even a description of the LED indicators would be better.
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. The User Manual might be helpful.

Your message mentions the R6900. The footer says D7000. Is the idea to connect the R6900 to the D7000?
