Internet not working - no ethernet cable plugged into the internet port
I have got the same issue with the other guy here.
I bought it around Nov 2016 and it's been working fine. Then the internet stopped working and in the basic interface it said there was no internet connection, when I click on details it says there is no ethernet cable plugged into the internet port. The thing is, there isn't meant to be an ethernet cable plugged into the internet port, there never has been - because this model has a built in DSL modem and the telephone socket is connected to the DSL port.
I have reset the router back to factory settings and when it performs the setup wizard. It does not set up anything. Even I mannually input the login details , Sky ID and password etc, it won't work!!!
As long as I switched back to the Sky router, it is working fine!
The router is still under warranty, but because it is beyond 90 days and I want to get a replacement without paying for premium telephone support.
I tried to call the telephone support but they think the router is fine and if they fix the issue, they will charge me premium price which is ridiculous.
How do get the router replaced?
Such a bad experience with Netgear now!!

Under no circumstances pay for a support contract. They may try that on if you ring them. It is a scam.
