Model C3700 Connected to internet but not modem / router?

I have been working on this for 6 hours now. I can connect to the router / modem and go on the internet fine, but whenever anyone else tries to connect to it, they see that it as having no internet. But if I turn off the router / modem and deactivate the wireless on my computer, ONE other person can connect to it. It seems like it might be stuck in bridge mode, but when I try to go to routerlogin.net or any of the other myriad of ways to get on the router it says that I'm not connected to the router... same goes if I try the genie application. I have went through a dozen or so help articles today and have a massive headache now. This all started when an electrician came by from the city to check our power, cut it off, cut it back on, and we tried to cut our router back on...

As usual, showing actual actions with their actual results (error
messages, ...) can be more helpful than vague descriptions or
interpretations.

Are you getting the page which says, "You are not connected to your
Router's WiFi network. [...]"?  If so, then welcome to what may be the
worst error message in the world.  For an explanation, try:

      https://community.netgear.com/t5/x/x/m-p/1365830

Briefly, the idea is that "[www.]routerlogin.net" should point to
your own router, but that's true only if you use your own router for DNS
name resolution.  Irregardful, you should be able to get to the thing
using its IP address, if you can determine (or guess) that.

The User Manual for your router should tell you what its default LAN
IP address is, if it's not the usual 192.168.0.1.  Otherwise, you can
often get it from your computer's IP configuration as the default
gateway or router address (or some similar description).  Visit
http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look for
Documentation.

   Perhaps so.

What's the operating system on "my computer"?

Re: Model C3700 Connected to internet but not modem / router?

I'm running on Windows 10. I'm sorry about the vagueness in the earlier message. I've tried logging into the router at routerlogin.net, routerlogin.com, I've tried two default IP Addresses in my internet search bar (192.168.1.1 and I forgot the other). Both brought back a response of "This site can't be reached.". I've tried to use the Genie application, and it can tell that I've got an active internet connection, but when I try to connect to the router to see if it might be in bridge mode  When I try to access "Router Settings" on Netgear Genie it says "NETGEAR router is not found or is not supported. Also make sure the device is not connected to the guest network of the router, and no IPv6 is enabled." I'm not sure what other information might be helpful.

Thank you for the reply. I sincerely mean that. This has been driving me insane all day. Also, sorry about the double posts. There's been a lot of lag on the computer today, so didn't mean to post twice.

Try 192.168.100.1 or try removing the coax cable from the modem and then try to access the settings could be a issue with the ISP forcing it into bridge mode.

Does "Both" mean both the "routerlogin" names and the IP addresses,

or both IP addresses, or what?

Ok.  Open a Command Prompt (CMD.EXE) window, and issue an "ipconfig"
command.  The Default Gateway address should be the address of the

router.

Okay, update! I was able to get onto the router by logging into that router that the moderator listed. It's still not working correctly, but I can access the router logs and there are a ton of errors. I don't know why, but it's listing a couple of errors as having happened in 1970, but i think that all of the following errors are from teh last few days.

Re: Model C3700 Connected to internet but not modem / router?

I'm going to try doing a factory reset from within the router settings to see if that helps at all.

Re: Model C3700 Connected to internet but not modem / router?

The factory reset did nothing, however I have found out that under Advanced / Administration / Router Mode that it is actually set to "No". I looked at the help on the bottom of the screen and it said to have it set to "no" in order to activate bridge mode. I clicked yes, it rebooted the router, and came back up.. but it was still clicked no and was still in bridge mode.

You may want to remove the coax cable then change the router mode and see if it changes or contact your ISP to see if they are forcing it to be bridged by disabling the wireless.
