N300 router unable to connect to internet but another router can
Hi guys. I am confused why my N300 Wireless ADSL2+ Modem Router with Ethernet WAN DGN2200v4 can't connect to the internet, but my Linksys router is able to connect without a hassle.
There is no password from ISP to use the internet service. If there is one, I would not be able to set up my Linksys router that easily.
I am not so sure whether it is due to the LAN cable's head is smaller than the cable hole insertion mounted on the wall that might have cause this problem. The router did not show any light for the internet icon when it is not connected to my computer. However, when I connect my computer to the router's WAN slot using a cable, the internet icon is showing red (not blinking).
It is weird that it is difficult to set up a Netgear router. I would appreciate if someone can help me solve this problem.
Thanks.
