Netgear D1500 wifi configuration with Ethernet cable

Hi, I have a problem with my Netgear D1500 router. I have an ethernet cable in my room but when I connect it to the WAN/LAN port of the router, I don't have any internet connection via wifi. If I connect my pc with another ethernet cable it works perfectly.

What could the problem be?

What, exactly, doesn't "have any internet connection" via whose
"wifi"?  As usual, showing actual actions with their actual results
(error messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.

What is your "my pc"?  To what are you connecting it "with another
ethernet cable"?

The first one is trying to figure out what what, exactly, you are
trying to do.

What, exactly, are you connecting to what?  Why?  Then, what,
exactly, did you do?  What, exactly, happens when you do it?

That's a modem/router. It isn't likely that it will expect to connect to an Ethernet cable, more likely something that connects to your phone company.

The fact that you can connect this Ethernet cable to a PC suggests that you don't need the modem to connect you to the Internet. So do you really have a D1500?

There is a manual for the D1500 somewhere at the end of this link:

If you do have the Internet on your cable, then you could try plugging it into the WAN port on the back of the modem. See page 9 and page 18 and the section Set Up Your Modem Router for Cable or Fiber Service
.
