Netgear D7800 Keeps Dropping 2.4ghz Wifi
I bought a new D7800 modem+router. While 5GHz is fine and stable, the 2.4ghz band continually drops. The ssid is visible, but my laptops are unable to connect to the network (it says "can't connect to this network"). My phone can connect for about 10 seconds, then drops for 10 seconds and the reconnects, continuously. Rebooting the router seems to stabilise it for a bit, but it reverts to this state later in the day. I find that this happens more commonly at night. I have the latest firmware, and have tried shifting the channel already.

Rif.: Netgear D7800 Keeps Dropping 2.4ghz Wifi
Hi, same problem here. I have the latest firmware version. Some people online suggested to switch on a older version like the .34 or .20 but these have a bad QoS... NETGEAR SOLVE THIS PROBLEM IS A 200 BUCKS MODEM!!!!
if you are still in time to return it, I suggest you to do it and take a fritz. and don't try the beta versions of the firmware it doesn't work.
