Nighthalk D7000v2 keeps droping internet connection
Ny Nighthalk D7000v2 keeps droping internet connection every 7-9 days. I noticed all lights are still white, I contacted ISP sevral times, they confirmed no problem there end. Internet connection gets restored if I turn modem off for 5-10 mins and restart. Seller has replaced the modem under warrenty few months ago, same problem still exists.
Is it heat causing it? any help is appritiated, It is imposible to contact netgear technical support.

I do have the same problem here. The only difference is that my dropouts keep happening every second day. Logged a support ticket with Netgear and updated it 4 times but never gets a reply from anyone.

I moved my modem to different location this morning(It is painfull to relocate modems) to rool out temprature problem, there is no aircon in room where it is now.
can you check if your modem gets quite hot when it drops internet?
I wont hold my breath while waiting responce from Netgear 🙂

A few days ago I bought a Nighthawk AC1900 D7000v2 ADSL modem/router, but it looks like it drops connections once or twice a day for no apparent reason. Not only Internet is then unreachable, but the router itself (admin page) too and the Wifi SSID no longer shows up on any devices. Indeed the LED lights remain white. No connection recovery until manually turning the device off and on. Firmware is V1.0.0.47_1.0.1. Is there any fix coming up? Any settings that give stability?

I am having this exact problem right now. I just returned an Asus router because it kept dropping the 5Ghz Wifi. I get home and try this (more expensive) Nighthawk and it drops ALL devices every couple of hours, wireless AND wired. I playing with the settings hoping something sorts it but this and other threads don't leave me hopeful. I'm not looking forward to having ot return this router and having to spend time trying another one.
