Router Dropping Internet Connection
Around March 12, 2018 my router started intermittently dropping internet connection about 2 PM every day. It works fine up until then. I've had it for about 2 years without any problem. Don't know if this is a coincidence or not but this corresponds to the change to daylight savings time which we don't observe here in Arizona.
The log is filled with entries of synchronizing NTP time. See attached.
I also notice that the time displayed is 1 hour wrong.
I updated to firmware version V1.01.36_1.0.25 but this did not help.
Any help is appreciated.

Re: Router Dropping Internet Connection
Hi @wildcatsua,
Welcome to the community!
1. Please make sure that you do a factory reset after the firmware update.
2. You can try disabling the daylight savings time by going to Advanced > Security > Schedule > Time Zone.

Re: Router Dropping Internet Connection
Sorry I asked my main question in the post in error.
However, when you do a factory reset after upgrade does that revert all the ISP, wifi and security settings back to defaults?

Re: Router Dropping Internet Connection
Model is actually the AC1750 but that choice wasn't available.
I come back from 2 weeks of travel and reconnect router and now now problems for the past 2 days. I have made no changes.
What have you done on your end?
thx

Possibly because the AC1750 does not exist. It is a wifi speed indicator rather than a Netgear model. The "drop down" offers choices that are relevant to the forum in question, although it sometimes misses newer models.
You have posted in the DSL modem/router section of the community. Netgear does not make an AC1750 DSL modem/router that I can find. It does make a cable modem (C6300) and several routers (variants on R6XXXX, including the R6400 listed in your first message). Perhaps you have one of those.
In either case this probably isn't the right bit of the community for your query. It doesn't matter greatly, although different product lines have different ways of working and different firmware and you won't find answers related to your hardware.

What does "now now problems" mean? I hope it is "now no problems".

There is no "your end", just a bunch of fellow users, and some Netgear support people, answering other users' questions. There is certainly no "your end" that can influence what happens on your device, whatever it is.
Maybe your Internet service provider mended something.

Re: Router Dropping Internet Connection
Attached is a picture of the box from my router showing the model as AC1750. The barcode on the side of the box shows R6400-100NAS.
And I spoke too soon about the problem. It is back. Internet connection on and off. I have done a complete factory reset.
Any help is appreciated.

Re: Router Dropping Internet Connection
Forgot to add that it doesn't seem to be an ISP issue as when I use a different router I have no problems.

That is the model number. You will also find that on the label on the router.
This also means that your message is in the part of this forum where people talk about DSL Modem/Routers. You have a router:
WiFi Routers - NETGEAR Communities
It may not make much difference, but it does mean that you will not find many messages related to your hardware.
Back to the problem in hand, do your router's logs reveal anything useful?
See page 139 in the manual, somewhere at the end of this link:

Re: Router Dropping Internet Connection
Logs have repeated entries like this with different time stamps:
[Time synchronized with NTP server] Tuesday, Apr 17,2018 19:16:12
[Internet connected] IP address: xxx.xxx.x.xx, Tuesday, Apr 17,2018 19:16:11

Re: Router Dropping Internet Connection
That's not right.Do those coincide with the lost connection?
You said earlier:
I also notice that the time displayed is 1 hour wrong.
I wonder if these could be related in some way.
Try to fix the first one and maybe the rest will fall into place.
But how do you do that?

Re: Router Dropping Internet Connection
I corrected the time but still have same problem.
Entries in log do not correspond to dropping. Looks like after it comes back on it re-initializes.
