SOS ROC Compatibility for Nighthawk D7800
Will my very expensive Nighthawk be receiving a firmware update to ensure compatibility or will it become expensive e-waste?
On 31 March 2022, NBN Co is upgrading NBN FTTB/N services with a requirement for all modems to support a new stability feature called SOS-ROC.
Our records show that you are currently using an NBN modem that may not support SOS-ROC for your NBN service. |
Here’s what you need to do:

In the interim, we will automatically adjust the profile of your NBN service to reduce the impact of the change on 31 March 2022. You won’t need to take any action for this settings adjustment to take effect. |

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the DSL Modem products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with DSL modems (D and DM Series) products. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:
