Will DM200 work with Centurylink ADSL?
I am on a Centurylink network with a bonded DSL connection (I think it is ADSL2+). My old modem (Actiontec C2000A) is giving me trouble, and I need to replace it. I went to the local bestbuy and was recommended to use a DM200 from Netgear (it says Centurylink compatible right on the box).
The quick set up disn't work (DSL LED stays orange, indicating no connection)
I then talked to Netgear support, and they gave me instructions to try using advanced setup. Didn't work either. Now I am trying to respond to the support thread, but I get "fatal server errors" and are directed back to the Netgear login page.
So, community.
Has anybody succeeded in setting up a DM200 with Centurylink on their bonded pair setup? I'd like to hear how that was done.
The configuration page of the modem could be a bit more helpful. One can set all sorts of parameters, and then there is a "test" button, but all that happens is that a progress bar crawls along, then the page refreshes. No indication if the "test" was successful or not.
