Will the Nighthawk AC1900 D7000 handle 200 mbps

I upgraded my internet speed from 50 mb to 100 mb a while back. The Windstream installer told me that I would not be able to use my Netgear D7000 Nighthawk AC1900 VDSL/ADSL Modem Router that I'd been using for quite a while. He said that since I had increased the speed to 100 mb I had to use their Windstream modem/router. Today I took advantage of their free offer to increase my speed up to 200 mbps. I am wondering if my Netgear modem router can handle the higher speed. I have several wireless devices that will access the router such as: 2 smart iPhone 8+, an iPad Air, possibly 2 TVs using a ROKU Streaming Stick, and a HP Officejet Pro printer. Granted all of these wouldn't be accessing the router at the same time but it is possible maybe 4 of them might.
Can I return the Windstream modem router and use my old Netgear modem router?

Not a D7000v2? Firmware version?

Not a very detailed description of anything.

Why trust the free advice you'll get here (from non-psychics who know
nothing about your Internet service)? Why not run the experiment? One
potential problem would be if your service uses a bonded pair of lines,
which, so far as I know, no Netgear DSL modem(+router) supports.

Re: Will the Nighthawk AC1900 D7000 handle 200 mbps
When they installed the 100 mbps service and a new Windstream modem/router he did install a different phone line from the service connection box in my garage to a special jack near my computer. He also installed a new DSL/phone line filter to use. After he left I discovered that my FAX didn't work due to no signal. When another service tech came he said that the 1st tech had disconnected my FAX line to accomodate the 100 mbps internet speed. He changed some wires around and reconnected my FAX.
