uPnP not staying selected / ticked. N300 DGN2200v4

I need to turn UPnP on in my router settings in order to enjoy my Chromecast. I have a Netgear N300.

When I go into settings (Advanced -> Advanced Setup -> UPnP) and I select / tick the 'Turn UPnP on' tickbox, and hit apply, the router reboots, but returns with the box unticked. Even if I select the tick box, and go to 'ADVANCED Home' and reboot, no luck.

No joy with the Chromecast yet.

Any ideas? An internet search doesn't reveal anyone with the same issue...

Can you check the settings using a different browser, and preferably a different computer?

Well I can’t be sure, my initial reason for asking you to try a different PC / browser was a suspicion that you might be seeing cached data, but your earlier post #3 suggests otherwise.
