using DGND4000 access point - cannot connect to 2.4 ghz wifi
Hello,
i would like to solve this problem.
I follow this guide to use the router as AP: https://community.netgear.com/t5/DSL-Modems-Routers/How-to-set-up-dgnd4000-as-router-only-on-existin...
everything is ok if i connect to 5 ghz wifi, but if i try to connect to 2.4 ghz it doesn't give me the ip address and i cannot navigate on internet.

The most likely cause I can think of is that you have the Guest Network applied to the 2.4GHz band.

You just need to log into the router admin pages and check the wireless settings, I believe the Guest network settings are quite clear and not hidden away in some sub-window.
By the way, you can still use the guest network if it is enabled, but the option to ‘isolate’ this from the LAN (to only provide Internet access) would be the cause of the issue you see, and you would need to disable that option if currently enabled.

Try changing the wireless encryption method and passphrase for the 2.4GHz band.
