What's the difference between the d7000 and D7000v2
Hi there, I.m in the market for a new Modem.router for NBN FTTN and am wondering about the differences between the D7000 and D7000v2 - besides the different backpanel layout. Has it been improved performance wise, different chipsets or is just configured for different counties - NZ seem to be using the v2. Cheers

Re: What's the difference between the d7000 and D7000v2
Hi,
I was told the main important thing between the 2 is they have stopped using a broadcom chipset in V2, so if that is what you are particularly afer, don't waste your money.

Hi, Thanks for reply. I've also heard that it's the same as the D7800 - Lantiq chip. So no go for me. Pity about that, could have been a winner. Cheers
