R7000 Netgear router
Had a question about Netgear router. Wife called Netgear and she was told they could connect her with a technician but there would be a charge. Is this how Netgear operates help? If this is true there will be no more Netgear products in this home.

Re: R7000 Netgear router
Support is free for the first 90 days of purchase on new devices. There is a hardware warranty on devices but if the harware turns on/works, then there is a charge after the 90 days to help with. Most consumer networking companies have something similar as they can't afford to be a persons own IT department.
But most places also have some type of community forum where users can go for help (like you found here).
We're more than willing to help.
