Simplisafe Cameras and Doorbell not connecting to internet - CM700 and R6400

I recently switched from the cable companys modem/router to a Netgear R6400 Router and CM700 modem. I've ben able to reconnect all my devices except for my Simplisafe cameras. The Simplisafe base station, my Honeywell therostat, my printer, tablets, computers, and phones all connect just fine.

I go though the Simplisafe instructions and the cameras say they are connecting to the internet. I can see them on the Router "connected devices" page for the router, but they do not connect to the internet. I just get a green flashing light. I see the SSID just fine on the cameras when setting them up.  I'm using the standard WPA2 security.  I've not changed any of the defaut setting on either the router or modem.

The Simplisafe tech(s) sent me new cameras and that made no difference. I checked to ensure I have the latest firmware and have that set to automatic update, it's V1.0.1.52_1.0.36 for the router. They are saying I need to contact my router manufacturer. Netgear said I need to talk to Simplisafe.

I have ensured the cameras are connecting to the 2.4 GHz network. I have verified I a very good strong signal. My phones, thermostat, and printer all connect to the 2.4 GHZ network with no issues. My guess is the cameras are connecting to the wifi, I see them on the router's connected device list, but they don't seem to be connecting to the internet. I just don't know where to go from here. I'm assuming it's a setting of some type, but neither Netgear or Simplisafe have been able to tell me what I need to do. I'm open for suggestions.

After all the work with the Router, it turns out there is an issue with Simplisafes' software with Android 6.0.1 and the LG phone I had.  I bought a new phone and it doorbell and camera installed instantly.  What is strange is I was able to install the camera a few months ago with the same LG phone. My guess is there was an update to the software along the line that caused an issue with installs.

Bottomline the Simplisafe camera and doorbell work just fine with my R6400 and CM700

What firmware version is your R6400 on?

Have you tried resetting the router and connecting the cameras and hub first? I've seen on the simplisafe website that working for some. 

If that doesn't work, are you on V1 or V2 of the R6400? I know v2 got netgear armor. If you're on v2, try downgrading the firwmare to 1.0.3.66.

The R6400 Router software version is V1.0.1.52_1.0.36   I tried a firmware update and got this "No new firmware version available."  I checke and the router just says R6400 on it, I'm told the V2 has that on the label, so I assume it's a V1.

I have not tried resetting the router.  I will try that.

I have restarted the router and the modem with no luck on connecting the camera or doorbell.  I also reset the router.  I have comfirmed I can see the camera and doorbell on the router along with their IP addresses.  Theyare just not connecting with Simplisafe's server.  I guessing there is some setting somewhere that needs to be set of changed, I just don't know what it is.

do you have upnp enabled? 

how about ipv4/6? do you have ipv6 enabled? 

Have you checked the simplisafe forum to see if any ports need to be forwarded or helps if its forwarded?
