WNR 614, can I reset my router with previous network name and Network Password for a reason?

After the settings reset, if you configure the router with the old
wireless SSID, passphrase, and encryption scheme ("Security Options"),
then a client device which could connect before should still be able to
connect.
In many cases, changing the encryption scheme wouldn't matter much,
but some very old client device might have trouble if you changed the
router from WPA to WPA2, and the device didn't support WPA2.
