You might also do better to put your question in the section dedicated to your hardware. If you want advice on an app, which one? The "genie" could be one of several things, the browser interface, a Windows or Mac application, or an Android/iThing app.
Yes, I’m having problems changing my admin password. If I had a Samsung phone I could change the password but I have an iPhone and iPad. I can’t remember the name of the tab I needed. I also typed my password so someone else could use my internet when they came over. I was able to change the internet password but it has not required anyone I provided the password to change their password. I’m not happy with netgear.
