GSM7224 allow only one MAC
Hello
I configure 802.1x with Microsoft Radius Server but some device are old and dont understand this 802.1x, so i need another Way to protect my Switchports.
I am not sure but the only way to give some security is to allow one definded MAC Adresse.
But how? Is it possible to give only one MAC adress access on this Port?
Other do you have a better way for security?
Thank you

Re: GSM7224 allow only one MAC
Hi DarkMata,
I just want to share these articles below if ever you have not came across with it yet and these might be helpful to you:
What is port security and how does it work with my managed switch?
How do I configure a protected port to isolate ports using CLI commands on my managed switch?
How do I configure a protected port to isolate ports using the web interface on my managed switch?
Hope it helps.

Re: GSM7224 allow only one MAC
Hi
And this is the only way to protect my network from this device?
Because its very easy to fake a MAC Adress.
So i make a Security Port with 0 Dynamically Learned MAC Adresse and only 1 Statically Locked MAC Adress and this port is "Secure" 🙂
