Stripping/Tagging ISP VLAN on GS105Ev2

Hi all,
I am considering purchasing a GS105Ev2 managed switch.
I want to check it will meet my needs.
My new Internet Service Provide tags all incoming traffic with VLAN 40, and requires all traffic sent to them to also be tagged with VLAN 40.
I don't use VLANs on my internal network and have no plans to.
So I need I "strip" the VLAN tag 40 from the *incoming" traffic from the ISP, and "add" VLAN tag 40 to all *outgoing* traffic? (Not sure I'm using the correct terminology but hopefully this makes sense).
I will plug my ISP connection into Port 1, and all my other equipment in to ports 2, 3, 4 and 5.
Is it as simple as:
- Adding a new VLAN 40
- Marking port 1 as tagged
- Updating the PVID to show port 1 is part of VLAN 40

- Adding a new VLAN 40
- Marking port 1 as tagged
Updating the PVID to show port 1 is part of VLAN 40- Marking port 5 as untagged member for VLAN 40 (but not a member of any other VLAN)
- Set the PVID for port 5 to 40, ensuring all frames coming in on port 5 are associated wot the VLAN 40
Keep in mind the GS105Ev2 is a Plus configurable switch, built on an unmanaged switch core - in no aspect a managed switch.

Unless you have an Internet connection supporting more than one public IP addresses, you can typically connect just one router to the untagged side. Strictly follow the example I've suggested above with the untagged access port for VLAN 40.

Thanks for all the advice. My new ISP says they will allow two simultaneous PPPoE connections (with two different dynamic IPs - one for each PPPoE connection).
So do this I'd also set the PVID to Port 4 to VLAN 40?

You can make as many access ports for VLAN 40 (with PVID 40 of course) while no other VLANs are assigned as you need Ethernet for multiple PPPoE sessions.
