NV+ & 3TB Drives
Hi.
Just tryed to install a NV+ for an company.
I replaced 2 X 1TB drives with 4 X 3TB drives, factory reset & changed to raidlevel 5.
But it can only see the drives as 1tb drives...
Am running firmware release 4.1.14
The disks is WD Red 3TB NAS Harddrive SATA 6Gb/s (SATA 3.0), 64MB, 3.5", 24x7 reliability
Is it a limit on disk size on this NAS NV+ ?
Regards
Bjørn

- RXLuminary3TB drives are not supported on ReadyNAS NV+ v1 because this NAS model does not support GPT partitioning.
ReadyNAS NV+ v1 supports only up to 2TB drives. Refer to this link: http://www.readynas.com/app/hcl_disk - la5vsaAspirantHi Ixa, and thx for quick replay :)

I recommend you the Intel-based ReadyNAS OS 6 models like RN314. Check the specs here: http://netgear.com/images/pdf/ReadyNAS_ ... 700_DS.pdf
Be sure that you have a backup of the data from your NV+ v1 so that you could just restore it if ever you have purchased a new ReadyNAS OS 6 model.
