Can't open genie on windows 10
Windows 10 will not let me open netgear genie, I am not a computer expert so I am having to do a lot of research.
I tried downloading the netgear genie app for windows but that doesn't download either. I read that maybe my network adapter needs to be rolled up to a back update. this is upsetting if I keep having issues I will buy a different moden router from other company that doesn't have this issues.

Re: Can't open genie on windows 10
why not just log in through the browser?
go to routerlogin.net or 192.168.100.1
then log in through that route.

I have tried that too! It says that the page is not working "error_invalid_HTTP_response"
I have tried going through the browser, app, nothing works.

Re: Can't open genie on windows 10
Have you tried a different device?
What device are you trying on?
Are you able to browse the internet?
What are all the led's doing on the router? (color, blinking, etc)
did you try the 192.168.100.1?

Download from where? What happens when you try?
This issue might be hiding something on your network that is causing your other problems.
You should be able to get it from the support pages for your device.
Visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
That page will also have any software, firmware and drivers for your device, if they exist.
I have just recovered a copy of the file from here:
C6300 | Product | Support | NETGEAR
If it doesn't work for you, tell us what happens when you try.
