Device Manager
I want to add the N300 WiFi Range Extender, but when I log into the NightHawk App, there are no devices listed under Device Manager. I definitely have multiple devices connected, so not sure why that shows nothing.

What's that? N300 is not a reliable guide to model number. Many devices come with an N300, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and other brands, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
Does it have anything to do with the Model: R6080|AC1000 Dual Band WiFi Router listed in your footer?
In general, it is better to ignore apps when setting up your system – or doing much of anything come to that. Much better to have a browser and a wired connection to your network.
If you visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
you can feed in your model number and find the documentation for your hardware.
Look for the model number on the label on the device.
