Genie
Does anyone know if Netgear is planning an update to the Genie program? I find it a bit irritating that it doesn't allow making changes to the 5 gig wireless network features.

Re: Genie
Contacting Netgear was a waste of time. They sent me a non-responsive message to which I replied and then they responded that the 5 gig network was not supported by Genie, to which I replied that that was my original message, but it begged the question as to whether an updated version was planned. They then sent me the original message that they had previously sent. I gave up. They either will or will not update the software for the newer routers.

Re: Genie
This doesn't at all help you with your query, but isn't it easier to make changes using the router's web interface?
Genie can be handy, but it is limited (but I guess that's the source of your comment in the first place :))
