Issue with router and app on iphone

Hi!
I have a issue with my router R800 nighthawk
Firmware v10.3.46_1.32

I have reset it to factory setting multiple times and i still get the same problem.

I lost connections from my tv,pc and smartphones from time to time.

Second issue i have is when i use the netgear genie app i can't log in and se what devices are connected to the router i reboot my phone and still the same and i can't see it. i'm connected to the internet and can surf without a problem but like i say i can't use the app. I would like some help with it. Btw i can log in to the router trough the routerlogin.net and see all but i want to use the app on my phones.

iPhone 7 I can’t control with the genie app?
WiFi works just fine!
I never should have bought NetGear it’s TRASH!!!!😡

Hi @Zal,

 

1. Please try updating the router's firmware to the latest version (1.0.3.54) then do a factory reset.

2. Are you saying that the connection of your devices to the router is intermittently dropping?

3. Have you tried changing the wireless channel?

4. Does the issue persist on both bands (2.4GHz and 5GHz)?

5. Does the issue also occur on your wired devices?

6. After the reset, please check if all the issue will still persist.

Like i wrote before i try it everything.
My internet stops working from time to time and in the app i can't log in.
Some times i have logged id trough the routerlogin.net and its say i'm not connected to the internet ( normal mode) and when i go to advace mode its says i'm connected and internet starts working again
