UPGRADING ROUTER!

I've just purchased the MK83 — Nighthawk Tri-band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System (waiting for it to be delivered today). I presently have the Nighthawk Tri-Band X6S R8000P router, and I'm upgrading to the new one.

My question is, do I uninstall the Nighthawk app I have presently on my phone, and re-install a new app for the ne router?

No. Keep it installed. Just log in to the app using the new Admin and password set on the MR.
