WNR1000v2 Is it possible to block websites by their IP address?
Hi! I'm trying to block access to a social network for our wi-fi users. When I block the site by keywords, it blocks only the http protocol, and users can still access the website via https. How can I block all protocols for a website? Is it possible to block access to a range of IP addresses?

Re: WNR1000v2 Is it possible to block websites by their IP address?
You can use Block Services to block access to a range of IP addresses. This will work for simple websites that are accessible via a few IP addresses, but good luck trying to block sites like Facebook, which use dozens of non-contiguous IP addresses.
You may want to investigate the use of DNS-based filtering services, like what OpenDNS provides (link). Or Microsoft Family Safety for Windows computers (link).
