Workaround To Stop Multiple Genie Media Servers On Win 8.1
First off many thanks to Xircal in Microsoft Community Forums.
After submitting this issue to Microsoft I was fortunate enough to receive help from Xircal who helped me find a workaround to stop the Genie Media Servers from duplicating in Win 8.1 Devices and Printers section. Here's all you need to do:
1. Open the Network and Sharing Center
2. Click on Change Advanced Sharing Settings
3. Turn off Network Discovery
I don't know what impact turning off Network Discovery has on my computers but I don't care. I just wanted to be able to keep using Genie, it's a convenient tool for me.

Update from Xircal,
Keep in mind that in using this workaround to access the router interface from Genie you will need to re-enable Network Discovery.
