well you might have a beta unit that is locked because its a beta. Like I said, I've only ever since it on the r7800 on those beta units.
you might be sol.

Re: r7800 with DomaOS A7Legit V2.3.2.22
The R7800 never officially supported dumaos. I think it was only on some beta units.
So you might not find any info on how to clear it.
reason you don't want dumaOS?

Re: r7800 with DomaOS A7Legit V2.3.2.22
Hi its just surfing awa found several people said it was unsafe. Plus I cant seem to get it to take Surfshark VPN on tried with Openvpn set but wont take it. But otherwise I cant fault it setup was very easy to do seeing as I`m only a novice. Just wish I could get Surfshark on it as I`ve 18month subs left on it. instead of putting it on everything that goes thru internet.

tftp can be sensitive to timing. You might have to try a few times.
You can also try nmrpflash.

Re: r7800 with DomaOS A7Legit V2.3.2.22
Hi, thanks for the reply a problem I have when I TFTP is when I reboot the router the power light lights up orange but dose NOT BLINK it just changes to white when loaded up and other lights turn white. So what I have done is entered the PUT command at different times after rebooting ie every 5 seconds after power lights orange : 5 - 10 - 15 - 20 ; 25 seconds & so on. I have put some hours into this still no joy I must be missing something. Fingers are wearing out retyping the command line. I`ve tried both the TFTP as described on last answer several times.

Re: r7800 with DomaOS A7Legit V2.3.2.22
I`ve also tried with and without enabled TFTP in Windows Optional Features,
what i`ve noticed in all references to the firmware file as being (.chk) where as
for the R7800 firmware they are all (.img) files that I am trying to TFTP.
BED for me now try again tomorrow, thanks everyone for todays help.

Re: r7800 with DomaOS A7Legit V2.3.2.22
Still a solid router with dumaOS on it. Probably not worth some hammer-time. 🙂
