Yes it can be used in any country. You should check WiFi channel restrictions that your country may have also.

I live in another country, my cousin bought this router for me. If it comes with problems of connection drops, reboot or speed problems, things reported here.What do I have to do? Send back to the United States?

But he will bring it to me and it will be too much work to send back to the United States, I hope not to disappoint with the netgear.I lost an ASUS AC5300 WiFi Tri-band, stopped working out of nowhere, took a technician and found no reason for electric discharge.Looks like I kept a cooler base under this Asus to avoid overheating

    I believe they're region locked but can't say for sure.
